This legendary "drive-in" diner comes by the term "retro" honestly: it’s been around since 1964 and all of the owners were smart enough not to change a thing about its looks. Just like in the movie "Grease" of the TV show "Happy Days", you can be served in the car or go through the drive-through window. We dare you to try to make it to the bottom of one of their milkshakes, perhaps the richest, most decadent treat in the region. The friest are good, too, though the quality of the burger has gone down a bit in recent years. Peter's Drive in is right on the Trans-Canada Hwy 1, meaning you can pop by for a milkshake if you're en route to Banff from the Calgary airport (or vice versa).
