Near the old bridge (le vieux pont) and a 10-min. walk to the citadel, this friendly, family-run two-star hotel is on a lively street of bars, restaurants, and shops. It occupies an 18th-century building which has the advantage of a large courtyard, an internal garden, and a terrace which gives panoramic views of the citadel. The recently renovated bedrooms are simply furnished but pretty with bright fabrics. Pale tiled bathrooms are a good standard; some have rain showerheads. Pick a room on the upper floor for a splendid view. Triple and family rooms are available. Take breakfast either in the small downstairs room or on the terrace.
