Getting There

By Car & Bus -- Catacamas, the end of the road, is 40km (25 miles) past Juticalpa on the paved Hwy. 15. Transportes Discovery/Aurora (tel. 504/2899-4393) has service every half-hour to Tegucigalpa (L120; 3 1/2 hr.) and Juticalpa (L20; 45 min.) between 6am and 4pm at their terminal on the highway. To get anywhere else it is best to transfer in Juticalpa.

Visitor Information

The only ATM in town is at BGA bank, 2 blocks from Parque Central. There is a Hondutel a half-block east of the park, and several cybercafes are scattered around town.
