The atmosphere at this sweet little B&B in Glenariff feels akin to a family home. The manager, Rose Ward, and her husband, Chris, are friendly as can be, and happy to help with planning sightseeing trips, making dinner reservations, and so on. Bedrooms are simple but decorated with paintings of flowers chosen to match the accent colors of the room—an inventive touch. Breakfast is served outside if the weather’s good. If you really must, the guest lounge has a TV, but a better choice is to get out and explore. Glenariff, a pretty little town a few miles south of Cushendun, is a popular coastal stop; a forest park is within about 10 minutes’ drive, and the beach is a short walk from the front door.
