This compact bar is one of the city’s finest, with mixologists that really know what they’re doing and quality cocktails. The usual offering contains 5 to 8 separate ingredients and pours: the exceptionally smooth “South of the Border” comprises tequila, Agwa Coca Liqueur, lime, Meyer lemon, mint, and Angostura bitters, for example. The bar snacks are equally creative—think soft pretzels with Sriracha cheese sauce, and Pad Thai popcorn ($6). It’s open Sunday to Wednesday 5pm to midnight, Thursday to Friday 5pm to 2am, and Saturday 3pm to 2am.
