Meet Canada’s version of Ben & Jerry’s, and quite possibly the country’s best ice cream, according to Reader’s Digest and, well, me. I think you’ll agree, too, after taking the factory tour and sampling such flavors as Moo York Cheesecake and Royal Cownadian Mint. They also have several other island locations. Fun fact: Taking the PEI slogan “Canada’s Food Island” to heart, the folks who started COW’s ice cream also own Raspberry Point Oyster Co., one of the largest oyster cultivators on the island, producing popular varieties such as Lucky Limes, Pickle Point, Raspberry Point, Shiny Sea, and Irish Point.
