The highest standards of hospitality have long set the 1839 Captain’s House apart from the many other B&Bs in Chatham. The 2-acre property includes not just the grand captain’s home but also the converted barn and stables now called the “Carriage House,” with 5 units; the “Captain’s Cottage,” with 3 units; and the luxurious “Stables” building, also with 3 units. All the Stables rooms have fireplaces, and many have whirlpools.
