This motel-style guesthouse—an enclosed compound in a quiet neighborhood—just a short walk south of the Night Bazaar, has a well-tended garden, a manicured lawn and one of the friendliest staffs in town. Rooms are very simple but spotless, with new floor coverings (guests are asked to remove shoes before entering), fridges, a/c, balconies, and tiled bathrooms with hot-water showers. Breakfast is served in a shaded pavilion. You’re close to the market, but the place is quiet.
