Andy’s Jazz Club and Restaurant

The windows are aglow with neon signs advertising “live music” at this little brick storefront in River North. Its location, close to The Loop, is a draw for tourists, but you’ll find plenty of jazz-loving locals here, too—including, often times, those on the stage, who play two sets nightly. Peer at the “Wall of Fame,” a photographic walk through time since the place opened in the early '50s. To guarantee a table, make a dinner reservation (food is decent—burgers, bruschetta, fish, proteins). The club allows diners to reserve in advance, but tables are first-come, first-served for others (there’s a two-drink minimum).
