I dare you to try to get out of the best gift shop in the city without getting out a) your wallet or b) your phone to take a photo of something you’re barely resisting buying, like a ninja samurai sword umbrella or a Frank Lloyd Wright Millard House votive candle holder. I've certainly never succeeded at it. Everything here—toys, neckties, scarves, games, bookmarks, puzzles of the Chicago skyline, picture frames with patterns designed by Louis Sullivan, and a huge selection of Chicago history books—is design-centric, but in the most playful of ways. You’ll find a souvenir for everyone on your list.
