If malls were small, navigable, friendly, and consisted of handmade items from local artists and artisans, they’d be like Andersonville’s Galleria. It’s about a 30-minute train ride from downtown to see the 90+ tiny shops/stalls of art, clothes, gourmet food, gifts, jewelry, antiques, and whatever else they have in store. What I love most about this place is that the artists aren’t actually present, so, unlike a craft fair, you don’t feel any guilt for less-than-pleasant facial expressions certain styles might inspire. What? It happens.
