Fairytale dreams come true without breaking the bank at this unique château-hotel. The reverie begins as you drive onto the grounds of this imposing medieval fortress surrounded by vineyards. The 21st century has made it to the interior with all the modern comforts. Guest rooms feature vintage floral prints and most rooms have massive exposed beams to augment the castle charm; the less-expensive rooms are located in the Pavillon des Vignes annex. The restaurant is one of the best in the region, where you can dine on regional seasonal specialties accompanied by the château’s own wine (fixed-price menus at lunch 30€–35€ and dinner 48€–85€).
