Chungjuho (Lake Chungju)
An artificial lake created by the creation of the Chungju Dam in the mid-1980s, Chungjuho is considered the best lakeside resort area in the country. There are a variety of recreational, sports, and entertainment facilities. Ferries operate in the five areas of the lake, but the most popular route is the Chungjunaru course. A ferry also runs as far as Shin Danyang and is an incredibly scenic ride. In the summer season, the boats run daily every hour from 9am to 4:30pm. In the winter season, the boats run daily about every 2 hours 10am to 3pm.
