Open daily from 4am to 8:30pm, there is bibimbap or haejang gook (spicy seafood hot pot) for only W4,000.

A good option in the Suanbo area is Hyundae Shikdang, 191-1 Oncheon-li, Suanbo-myeon, Chungju-si (tel. 043/846-3363), which has seafood, chicken, and even rabbit on their menu. You can get a mushroom hot pot for W10,000 or enjoy a rabbit feast for W40,000. For a hanjeongshik (Korean traditional meal), a good option is Hyangnamu Shikdang (tel. 043/846-2813, 613-4, Bugok-dong, Sangluk-gu, Anshin-si), located behind the Gloria Hotel. A meal with several banchan will set you back W8,000 to W10,000. Splurge on their pheasant shabu shabu for W50,000 or go budget with their soon dubu for a mere W5,000.
