One of the most attractive towns in Alsace, Colmar is a must for any visitors to the region. Colmar has been so well restored, you’d never guess it was hard hit in two world wars. You can’t help but be charmed by its medieval and early Renaissance buildings, half-timbered structures, gables, and gracious loggias. Tiny gardens and washhouses surround many of the homes.
