New York meets Colmar at this revamped historic home. The facade, old beams, and spiral staircase are virtually all that’s left of the 16th century, for the rooms have all been redone with sleek contemporary furnishings and art. They come in a variety of shapes due to the age of the building; ceilings are high, but often slanted. Modern comfort is accentuated with cushy beds covered in fine linens. Bathrooms are small and only have showers. Request a room with a view of the canals or the timbered courtyard.
