Don and Shirley Wick have been running the Old Town GuestHouse in Colorado City since it was built in 1997, and they've got innkeeping down pat at this point. Despite its young age, the GuestHouse blends in nicely in the surrounding historic neighborhood. The inn offers a hybrid of boutique hotel privacy and B&B intimacy. Named for flowers and their undersea and desert cousins, the rooms showcase art and artifacts from all over the world. Coral Reef is the smallest, with a shower and a queen, and Paintbrush is the roomiest, with a second small bed in an alcove and superb views of Pikes Peak.
