Newly opened in 2013, Ivywild School saw its last students in 2009 after a 93-year run, and underwent a $5 million makeover into a culinary destination and emerging community hub. Today it houses several eateries, including the pub and taproom for award-winning Bristol Brewing Company, as well as a butcher shop, bakery, cocktail bar, and other businesses from the same ownership as The Blue Star. The food focuses on local ingredients, and most everything, from the mustard to the sausages, are made in-house.
