This huge operation features a farm market, bakery, winery, and pick-your-own fruits, including strawberries and apples, from June through October. In the fall, its Little Red Barn is turned into a sweet family destination, with maple "kettle korn," a hay maze for kids, a make-your-own-scarecrow table, and a riot of mums and pumpkins for sale. Despite its size, Bishop's Orchards retains a down-country feel, perhaps because it's still owned by the same family that started it in 1871. The Orchard's award-winning apple wines are tasty and make nice regional gifts.
