Copan Photo Exhibition
This permanent photo exhibit, in conjunction with Harvard's Peabody museum, is a welcome addition to the main square. The collection of enlarged 19th-century black-and-white images detail the original excavation of the Copan ruins and shows what much of the town and archeological sites looked like when excavations began. You'll see the main square as a dusty lot and the pyramids as piles of stones.
