Getting There — If you’re driving, take A68 northeast from Toulouse to Gaillac, turning north at exit 9 on D922 to Cordes-sur-Ciel. Park outside and then pass under an arch leading to the old town. If you’re coming by train, get off in Cordes-Vindrac and walk, rent a bicycle, or take a taxi the remaining 5km (3 miles) to Cordes. Train information and schedules are on www.oui.sncf or call tel. 36-35 (.40€/min.). For taxis or a minibus, call Taxi Barrois (tel. 05-63-56-14-80). There’s no regular bus service.
