Reasonable prices and the unusual waterfront setting draw both sport fishers and non-fishers alike to Orca Adventure Lodge, 2 miles north of Cordova. The lodge occupies a fish cannery that opened in 1886 and stayed in business until the Exxon Valdez oil spill wiped out the fishery. The rooms are simple but comfortable.  Guided activities are offered every summer day, by sea kayak, fishing boat, or floatplane. For $155 per person per night, you can stay as you would at a wilderness lodge, with all meals and outdoor equipment included.
