One of Cortona's most popular restaurant, this place just about deserves the plaudits. It is set in a series of gorgeous stone-wall cellars that form part of the 13th-century Palazzo Cattani. While the dining room is entertained by ebullient manager Romano Magi, Chef Agostina draws upon local olive oils and meats to create traditional soups and homemade pastas and desserts. Secondi are the real highlight here, especially the beef fillets and steaks cooked in red wine and other luscious Tuscan sauces; try the boar with apple and almonds if it's on the menu.
