A corner terrace house with a cozy, authentic interior, Emmett House is a satisfyingly traditional B&B. Guest rooms are a bit of a mixture; some nicely reference the 18th-century origins of the house, with antique-style furniture (including a beautiful four-poster in one room), but others are plainer and more modern. They’re a decent enough size, though (given their age) and everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are tasty and filling, and the welcome from host Maureen is genuine and friendly.
