Chemainus Murals
Downtown Chemainus has been transformed into a stunning art gallery with more than 40 larger-than-life murals painted on the sides of buildings. Highly detailed and grand in both size and scope, most of these depict historic scenes of the region’s logging, mining, farming, and First Nations past. There is also a trompe l’oeil gallery inspired by the works of the great artist Emily Carr, as well as a number of sculptures along the route.
