Hotel Kimen
On the edge of Cres Town, a pleasant 10-minute walk along the coast from the harbor, this is the only big hotel option on the entire island. Overlooking the sea and backed by woodland, it is made up of three separate buildings—the main hotel, a villa, and an additional dependence. The hotel was fully renovated in 2008, and all rooms now have smart modern bathrooms and A/C, as well as sea views and balconies. (Rooms in the other two buildings have not been renovated and remain without air-conditioning). Facilities include a Mediterranean/Croatian restaurant, and a spa offering beauty treatments.
