This casual, homey spot serves up surprisingly creative and sophisticated food. Since the menu relies on locally grown herbs and produce, it changes frequently, but it often features grouper bites with Asian slaw and sweet soy sauce; filet mignon with a wild mushroom and truffle sauce; an excellent curried lamb chops; and grilled kingfish escabeche, a Puerto Rican favorite. It’s a really fine dining experience, worth the price. One warning: Wear bug spray, as you’re sitting outdoors and the mosquitos can be fierce.
