You come to Fallen Angel more for the experience than the food. This wildly eccentric, artistically designed funhouse is beloved for continually breaking the norms in terms of typical Cusco restaurant decor. There are bathtub tables filled with fish and floating cherubs with tears in their eyes. There are splashes of clouds and color everywhere you look, much of them coming from underappreciated local artists. When it’s busy, there are few places as fun. When you are the only ones there, it’s just awkward. The menu, overpriced for some items, is full of ups and downs. Standard beef and pasta dishes are usually a safe bet, while the seafood and fusion dishes aren’t worth your attention.
