Sinwonsa (Sinwon Temple)
Built by Monk Bodeokhwasang in A.D. 651, the 11th year of Baekje King Uija's reign, this temple has undergone several renovations since and was rumored to have been moved to its present site after it was destroyed in the Imjin Waeran. Repaired by Monk Boryeonhwasang in 1876, the last renovations were done in 1946 by Monk Manheohwasang.
