It's appropriate that this property, set in a quiet residential area, has the word house in its name, because its one of those rare hotels one could comfortably move into for a long stay. Rooms have an apartment-like feel, both in size (roomy) and furnishings, which include a couch, a larger-than-normal desk, and usable kitchens (stove-top burners, microwave or a combo microwave/oven, full-size fridge, and a full complement of pots, pans, and flatware). I also like that the property comes with such unexpected extras as a shuttle that drives guests wherever they want to go in a 3-mile radius; a generous breakfast (including an omelet bar); twice-weekly cocktail parties; a decent gym; and a very friendly staff. The one downside—and it's a major one—is that you're going to get to know your neighbors. The walls are thin. So I in the rare periods when the price pops over $200 (it's usually around $130 to $150), I suggest you look elsewhere. You can do better at that price. The hotel is smoke-free facility, and there is a fee for parking: $12/night. Most guests will find it difficult to stay here without wheels, so that's a charge you'll probably have to pay.
