The name of this new First Nations center translates as "Long Time Ago House." Built to celebrate and share the traditional lifestyle and history of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in people (more commonly referred to as the Hän), the center offers archeological artifacts, costumes, tools, photos, and presentations that tell the story of the Native inhabitants of the Klondike area. Especially interesting is the Hammerstone Gallery, which relates the events of the last century from a First Nation perspective. Ticket price includes a guided tour; the gift shop carries handmade clothing, books, music, and gifts.
