Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach

With front row seats to the alleged world’s most famous beach, Hard Rock bring some much-needed modernity to the salty strip. The 200 rooms have sweeping ocean views and pictures of everyone from Justin  Bieber to James Brown. The oceanfront pool is a sauced-up party with lots of ol’ time rock ‘n’ roll, hip hop, pop, and EDM beats blaring, especially on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm when a DJ spins the popular brunch. Speaking of soundtracks, because it is a Hard Rock, you can request a Fender guitar, or a record player be brought to your room to play what you really want to hear. Hopefully you won’t be playing that guitar at 3am, though don’t be surprised if someone else is. This isn’t the place for calm and quiet, obvs. A 24-hour fitness center is a popular spot, as is the spa. If you partied too much the night before, there’s free yoga on weekend mornings. The Roxity Kids Club offers music-inspired diversions for those 5 to 15. Also outdoors is the Wave Terrace, featuring booze, fire pits and a stage for live music. The $39 resort fee is actually well worth it, especially if you have kids because it includes free breakfast and free dinner in Sessions with paying adult.
