From its excellent vantage point on Les Planches, you get some of Deauville’s best people-watching to go with some top-class seafood. It may be pricey, but Norman chef Jérôme Taquet’s superb cuisine is worth it. For a luxurious appetizer, try grilled langoustines with foie gras and chestnuts. If you want a seafood blowout, go for the plateau de fruits de mer royal (79€), a tower of local lobster, Isigny oysters, and super-fresh shellfish.
