Planning a trip to Dedham

From Colchester, it's possible to take a taxi from the railway station to the bus station, and then board a bus run by Beestons for the 8km (5-mile) trip to Dedham. (Buses leave about once an hour.) Most people take a taxi from Colchester directly to Dedham.

If you're driving from the London Ring Road, travel northeast on the A12 to Colchester, turning off at East Bergholt onto a small secondary road leading east to Dedham.
