This is a rollicking local hot spot for beer, music, and good food within a broad price range—not only the $20 grilled salmon, but also pulled cheaper pork sandwiches, Tex-Mex options, and fancy seafood entrees (Alaskan king crab legs are another, very pricey, specialty of the place). In summer, there's inevitably a wait to get in, but it's usually fast, as there are several dining rooms here. Our favorite is the upstairs one, hung with pendants, animal heads and other brick a brack—it's the most atmospheric and does' t get the sun, which downstairs sometimes shines right into patrons eyes—at 9pm at night!—in the summer months. Touring music acts come through regularly during the summer, often with a cover charge.
