A regular contender for the Cape’s top restaurant, the Ocean House seems to have it all: attentive service, great food, and sensational views of the Sound. The restaurant sits on the beach, with windows giving diners a 180-degree beachfront view. The thoughtful menu means that light bites, a couple of appetizers (spring rolls and calamari), and perhaps a gourmet pizza (artichoke and wild mushroom, or lobster and asparagus), can take the place of a more expansive meal. But if you are steering toward the large plates, consider the lobster ravioli with champagne cream (you can order a half portion) or the Korean BBQ short ribs. Keep in mind that this place is very popular in the summer, so make a reservation unless you don’t mind a very long wait.
