This is one of the most quirky and creative restaurants you are going to find, and the food is uniformly excellent. Aspen trees sprout from the floor in the front of the room as part of a wilderness-meets-city motif, the bathrooms are perplexingly camouflaged and marvels of design, and the aesthetic is hyper-contemporary meets fun. The fare incorporates plenty of local and organic ingredients into inventive dishes like wild boar burgers, catfish with grits and fried pickles, and cider-brined pork porterhouse. The small plates, cocktails, and desserts are similarly superlative, worthy a stop for happy hour or late at night. The wine list is short but excellent.
