Like an antique car, this retro-fab, nine-room motel has been spruced up to become the hippest stay in Seaside. The property pays homage to the old-time roadside motels, fusing rustic Americana with all the modern comforts of the 21st century, such as requisite flat-screen TVs. This is not your grandpa's Holiday Inn, although between the black and white checkered floors and the motor motif, it may be reminiscent of a scene out of "Grease" or "Happy Days." Seaside Motor Court is pure cruising kitsch and for that, we love it. Within walking distance of all of Seaside's best assets—the town center, the beachthis is an exceptional place to pull over and call home for a few nights. As with Seaside Avenue B&B, guests have access to the town's Swim, Tennis & Fitness Club, which includes three pools, a croquet lawn, bike rentals, seasonal children's activities, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Guests also receive a welcome tote with souvenirs and a free bottle of wine upon check-in. That's definitely not the Holiday Inn.
