Housed in a charming cottage with fresh roses and candles, this European-inspired restaurant is the quintessence of romance, and the antithesis of the touristy seafood shanties in neighboring towns. With just eight tables(!), Café Tango ensures an intimate experience. Don't miss seafood-stuffed piquillo peppers, pan-seared foie gras, jalapeno shrimp scampi, and a stellar Basque-style fish, pan-sautéed and topped with shrimp in a white bean sauce accented by morcilla and chorizo sausages. Divine, though some recent reviews have complained of under-seasoning. I haven't experienced anything but flavorful. Is this San Sebastian or Santa Rosa Beach? The lines are deliciously blurred.
