Le Palais Dit Vin

In the antiques district, this simple restaurant serves reasonably priced dishes made with products sourced from local suppliers. Lunch might be cream of potato soup with chorizo (from a nearby Spanish deli) and chicken in Dijon mustard sauce with rice, followed by chocolate panna cotta with passion fruit. The “Menu Bourgogne” (32€) features Charolais steak. Wines come from small vineyards in the region, such as Christian Gros, who works 13 hectares (32 acres) of Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. This is a good example of a 21st-century “traditional” French bistro.
