Louis Mulcahy Workshop
Husband of weaver Lisbeth Mulcahy (see above), Louis Mulcahy is a big name in designer Irish pottery. It’s all beautifully made, from Deco-influenced vases to kitchenware, tea sets, and ornaments. Considering what a name he is, Louis’s prices are pretty reasonable. Everything can be shipped worldwide, and we say with experience that the shopworkers are experts in packing breakable things so they arrive without a scratch! The workshop, which sprawls over a two-story building with gorgeous views down to the coast, also has a handy cafe. The shop is open daily year-round—until 8pm in the midsummer months. Clogher is 16.5km (10[bf]1/3 miles) northwest of Dingle.
