John Dickinson Plantation
The home of John Dickinson, one of Delaware's foremost statesmen of the Revolutionary and Federal periods, was originally built in 1740. Destroyed by fire in 1804, the brick house was rebuilt in 1896. Guides dressed in period clothing give visitors a glimpse of the daily life of the Dickinson family, tenants, and slaves. It's located near the Air Mobility Command Museum.
