Dubai's outstanding new waterpark features a 2.3-km (1.5-miles) lazy river with waves, rapids, and calm lagoons; a Mesopotamian-styled tower sending smiling patrons down seven exhilarating waterslides; and a calmer water playground for young children. The guests come from all over the world and their bathing suit attire reflects their cultures; some women, for example, are in bikinis while others are in abayas. There are plenty of lounging areas around the tidal pools for those who just want to relax and get a tan. Lockers are available for an extra charge, as are snacks and drinks. Atlantis resort guests enjoy free entrance to Aquaventure and The Lost Chambers.
