A top-floor adjunct to the wonderful food and wine store Fallon & Byrne Food Hall (p. ###), this restaurant serves delicious seasonal Irish fare sourced from artisan producers. Nothing seems to have come very far: crab from the tiny port of Castletownbere, County Cork; lamb from Lough Erne; oysters from Carlingford. The menu keeps a nice balance between ambitious dishes and more down-to-earth options, so while you may find, say, filet of turbot served with pink grapefruit and crushed new potatoes, you could just as easily opt for a simple burger topped with Cashel bleu cheese and smoked bacon. They also have vegetarian and vegan menus. And if you prefer to fend for yourself, an enormous selection of deli items is downstairs, available to go.
