Durango Fish Hatchery and Wildlife Museum

The rainbow trout that hatch here are released to stock a number of rivers and lakes in southwestern Colorado, and the outdoor tanks that hold thousands of fish are the prime attraction here. The facility produces more than 1.3 million fish a year, and visitors can feed the fish via coin-operated dispensers. Inside, the museum has a few displays covering the area's wildlife. Allow 30 minutes.
