This is the most unusual of Eilat’s top rank hotels. Along with its neighbor, the Herod’s Palace, it’s right on the nicest stretch of beach on the North Beach waterfront and offers a wide variety of rooms and suites, some with spacious terraces and fabulous Red Sea panoramas. Interior design by Adam Tihany is not the usual 5-star hotel generic, instead it plays with lively interpretations of 1940s, [‘]50s and [‘]60s décor. Food services are strong, and the dinner buffet is the best of any hotel in town. The gardened pools are large and attractive. Ask for a recently renovated room.
