By the time you read this review, a pool will have been added to Ceiba Country Inn’s facilities, possibly the only amenity that was missing at this adorable little B&B. The rural setting couldn’t be prettier (the views across the lush green mountains all the way down to the blue sea are stunning); the staff make each guest feel like a VIP; and the included breakfasts are scrumptious, particularly owner Michael’s famous home-baked banana bread. Close to El Yunque and east coast beaches, there’s plenty to do during the day; at night it’s board games and books, and the symphony of coquís, the singing Puerto Rican tree frogs. The inn’s bar has a television, and there’s a small library and lounge and Spanish patio with free Wi-Fi connection
