SAIS bus lines (tel. 800-211020, from mobiles tel. 199-244141; www.saisautolinee.it) runs service from Palermo taking 1 3/4 hours; from Catania there are 10 buses a day and taking 1 hour 20 minutes. Check the website for other locations. Trains (tel. 802021; www.trenitalia.it) stop quite a way down the hill at Enna Bassa, where a bus then whisks you to the historical center, however there are no direct trains from Palermo, so the bus is a much better option. From Catania, the train takes 1 hour 20 minutes. If you're driving, take the A19 (Catania-Palermo) autostrada, exiting at Enna.
