Located on a quiet square just a few minutes’ stroll from High Street and the cathedral, this hotel has freshly redecorated rooms, an attentive staff, and the onsite Olive Tree restaurant (which is quite good and not affiliated with the U.S. chain). A noisy pub on the corner means you'll get a better nights sleep if you ask for a room in the back. Also note that there is no elevator up to the third floor, so if you have mobility issues ask for a room lower down (there is a lift for the second floor).
