It’s no wonder this friendly, popular restaurant in the center of town had to double in size a few years back. It all resembles a European bistro, with ceilings elaborately decorated in tin, and 19th-century-style light fixtures. The chef-owner Mark Cilfone will often wander out of the kitchen to chat with customers and find out what they ordered. The classically inclined dishes include lasagna, braised lamb shanks, osso bucco, and lobster fra diavolo over linguine. You’ll often see diners waiting outside to get in, so call ahead to put your name on the list.
